Nursery
Hunter First’s Preschool area provides nursery for ages birth to 3 years during all Worship services and is staffed with trained parents and volunteers. In our fully secure area, we extend the love of Christ through nurture and loving care. We encourage spiritual growth through age appropriate teaching and play.
Preschoolers and their families are important to us at Hunter. When you visit the nursery for the 1st time, you will be asked to complete an information card. We will then sign your child into their room and you will receive a security number key. If you are needed during the service, your child's number will be displayed on the monitors located in the front of the Worship Center.
Before you leave your child in the Nursery
--Pack a diaper bag with any supplies your child may need (bottles, sippy cup, formula, special snacks)
--Clearly label all personal effects with your child's name
--Pre-mix ALL formula and leave instructions with caregivers
--Write out any other special instructions (allergies, potty times, etc.)
We cordially invite you to visit with us!!

Women on Mission® members are women who participate in ongoing small groups, through individual involvement, by attending missions events, or by participating in a missions project.
Small Group Involvement Two Women on Mission small groups exist at Hunter First and meet on different days and times. Women on Mission meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7PM. The JOY group meets on various Wednesdays at member homes. Watch the church bulletin for times and locations.
Missions Promotion The WOM groups also help to promote missions giving by keeping the church educated about the Cooperative Program and individual missionaries that we support. They do this throughout the year and for special offerings such as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions and the Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions.
Missions Events
A missions event creates greater missions awareness in the church.
Weekend retreats, weeks of prayer, celebration experiences, even missions fairs, bring all women of the church together to celebrate what God is doing in their lives, in their Women on Mission groups, and in the world.
These experiences move women to greater missions involvement through the use of worship, music, speakers, testimonies, presentations of the gospel, seminars, missions presentations, demonstrations, drama, prayer, and fellowship.
Ministry Projects Hands-on participation in ministry projects changes lives and attracts people to missions work. Whether the project is a long-term local ministry or a short-term volunteer missions trip, the results are more Christians involved in missions work and more lives touched by the gospel message.
